Barnabas International is a pastoral care organization, providing relief and support to missionaries across the globe. After a team of members collaborated on a book they asked Apt Design to help design a publication that would be inviting to read. We took the central theme of the book being a “conversation” and created a book cover that encouraged the reader to sit with the authors for awhile and listen to what they had to say. The cover also suggests the listening aspect of Barnabas’ work. The team was enthusiastic about how the design revealed the contents and the chair motif was carried through to the book layout as well.

Team Wilson Book
Team Wilson knew that for their self-published book to be taken seriously, it would require a professional design. They approached Apt Design with the need for a bold, striking cover that would convey the immediacy and importance of their book’s content. We worked with them to create that strong cover as well as designing the inside of the book with layouts that were easy to digest, pleasing to read, and used sports-inspired fonts.
Book Cover Concepts 2
Apt Design was privileged to get to work with DogEared Design on a project for one of the world’s largest Christian publishers. Apt Design provided concepts and revisions for a series of study guides written specifically for small groups. Though the publisher eventually decided on a different direction, we were excited to partner with DogEared Design on such a fulfilling project.
