New Experiments for Books

Danny Groner wrote a great article over at The Huffington Post about some new strategies publishers and authors are taking with book promotion and interaction.

While I don’t agree with Michael Hyatt that traditional books will eventually die, it is obvious that we are in the middle of a shift in the role of printed books. They must somehow adapt to their new world of instant information and consumer interaction.

Danny offers some interesting experiments that smaller publishers and authors are using to try and adapt. Whether they work on not remains to be seen, but whatever happens I do think the book will abide.
